Flutist, educator, and coach Adam W. Sadberry is a winner of Concert Artists Guild’s 2021 Victor Elmaleh Competition, and he is paving a distinctive career with his citizenry, creativity, and vibrancy both on and off stage. Included in the Washington Post’s 23 for ‘23 artists to watch, his recent concert engagements include features through the Kaufman Music Center, University of Chicago, and Newport Classical.

Watch Adam tell the story of his late grandfather L. Alex Wilson, an important journalist and unsung hero of the Civil Rights Movement.

 

Adam’s ventures in education include residencies at the Eastman School of Music, Lawrence University, Wesleyan College, and Northern Michigan University. He is currently enrolled in the Training Course at the Minnesota Center for The Alexander Technique, and he holds a Bachelor of Music and Performer’s Certificate from the Eastman School of Music.
